THE BRATTON VILLAGE FETE IS ON 15TH JUNE 2019.The Bratton Village Fete will be held on 15th June 2019, anyone wanting to have a stall at this event please e-mail Maz Talbot on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for a booking form. Space will only be allocated on receipt of a completed booking form and full payment by the end of May 2019.

This year we will be holding two competitions at the Fete, a colouring competition and a photography competition.
The colouring competition is open to children of all ages, entry fee is £1.00 per picture. Please apply to Mrs Alison Smith at This email address is being protected from spambots. Completed colouring sheets are to be returned by Saturday 8th June, with the name, age and address of the young artist who completed it written on the back, and depending on the number of picture’s returned, they will be pre-judged and those judged good enough in each age group will displayed on Fete day to be finally judged by members of the public.
The photographic competition is themed on “Bratton Life” and will cost £1.00 per entry. Printed photographs, 6 inches by 8 inches with the name, age and address of the photographer written on the back together with the entry fee, are to be delivered to Mrs Margaret Hart at 9 Westbury Rd, Bratton by 8th June and. depending on the number of photographs entered, will be pre-judged. Those deemed the best photographs most appropriate to the theme will be displayed at the Fete for final judging by members of the public. The 13 winning photographs chosen by the public will be used to make a calendar for 2020 to be put on sale later on in the year, a final judging will take place by a professional photographer to find out which of the 13 photo’s will be used for the cover of the calendar. All 13 winners will receive their photograph back framed and a free copy of the calendar with the final winner also receiving the prize of spending a day with the professional photographer. All photographers entering this competition must be prepared to submit a digital copy of their photograph if asked to do so.
