BRATTON REMEMBRANCE GARDEN - SATURDAY 13th APRIL
WORKING GROUP - We are creating a garden at the edge of the St James’ Churchyard, to provide a seating area looking out to Piquet Hill. In this particularly, special and beautiful setting, we hope that the garden will be provide a place for quiet reflection and enjoyment for now and for future generations.
Thanks to so many of you who have given generously and a grant from the Parish Council, we are starting work on the garden this spring. Now we need volunteers to help make the garden a reality. Our first working groups will take place on Saturday 13th April, Monday 15th April and Tuesday 16th April. Sessions will run 9-12, 1-3. All volunteers are asked to wear strong boots and bring gloves. The first task will be to put down the base for the path. This is very much a community project. Everyone is welcome. It is planned to run working groups every week on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 27th April through to June. Further information will be on the display in St James’ Church.
